Joyce Riviere moved from New England to Southern California in 1964. She became a licensed California REALTOR in 1987, then passed the Real Estate Broker exam in 1998. She is thoroughly experienced in all types of real estate transactions, including residential, investment, and commercial properties. She is well-versed in the aspects of complex transactions, such as 1031 Exchanges, All Inclusive Trust Deeds, and seller carried-back purchase loans.
Joyce was the former administrator of several financial institutions. She served as the Vice President of Residential Lending for a commercial bank, an Executive Vice President of a credit union, as well as the Director of Credit Union Services for a mortgage bank. Throughout her career, Joyce has maintained the highest level of compliance and integrity. In 2004, Joyce left the corportate world to open Advantage Property and Finance. Today, the Advantage team serves all Southern California counties.
Joyce's colleagues would describe her as having a collaborative nature, a desire to mentor, and a strong passion for client service. These attributes have enabled her to develop a team-based work environment with highly-skilled associates. Along with the Advantage team, Joyce has maximized her clients' buying and selling opportunities. She truly "marries" her clients.
Today, much of Joyce's business comes from existing clientele and their referrals. Other new business is generated through a system of networking, maintaining intelligent internet sites and supporting other strategic e-marketing efforts.
Joyce holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and is enrolled in an MBA program, with an emphasis on E-Business. She was an Honors graduate of the Western CUNA Management School.
